Pillars
OAAA's Financial Literacy and Wealth Building initiatives focus on providing individuals and families with the knowledge and tools needed to manage finances, build credit, save, invest, and plan for the future. Programs are designed to promote long-term financial health and stability.
Building financial literacy is foundational to closing wealth gaps and creating generational prosperity. By equipping the Black community in New Mexico with these tools, we help individuals take control of their financial futures and build lasting economic security.
Keys 2 Homeownership Program
Keys 2 Homeownership Program is an OAAA initiative designed to prepare individuals and families for successful homeownership through education, resources, and guided support. The program covers key topics such as credit building, budgeting, mortgage readiness, and the home buying process, while connecting participants to trusted lenders and housing professionals.
By increasing access to knowledge and resources, the program helps individuals overcome barriers to homeownership, build equity, and create long-term generational wealth.
