OAAA's Civic Engagement efforts are focused on increasing awareness, participation, and representation in the civic process. Through education, outreach, and partnerships, we provide resources that help individuals understand their rights, engage in policy discussions, and participate in local and state decision-making.

Civic engagement is vital to ensuring that the voices of the Black community in New Mexico are heard and represented. By empowering individuals to participate in the democratic process, we help drive policies and decisions that reflect the needs and priorities of the community.
