The Office of African American Affairs serves as a statewide resource on issues affecting Black communities across New Mexico. Through advocacy, research, partnerships, programs, and public engagement, OAAA works to elevate community voices and advance opportunities in education, economic empowerment, health, civic participation, and cultural preservation. This section serves as a central repository for agency news, official statements, media advisories, reports, event announcements, and coverage highlighting the work of OAAA and its partners throughout New Mexico.

Members of the media can access current and archived press releases, agency publications, community impact reports, event information, and announcements regarding initiatives supported by the Office of African American Affairs.
