Go Girl Empowerment Summit

Middle school can be challenging for many young girls, particularly those facing systemic obstacles due to their race or ethnicity. That's why UNM Hospital created the GO GIRL Empowerment Summit to inspire, encourage, and empower young girls of color to achieve their full potential. The summit will focus on the G.I.R.L. (genuineness, intelligence, resilience, and leadership) values as a resource to help them feel seen, heard, and supported..

The Go GIRL Empowerment Summit will need 100 + female

volunteers to make this event successful.

Volunteer job duties include:

- Assemble swag bags

- Set up/ Clean up

- Chaperone student s

- Help with event projects
