Intake and Assessment - Contract Counselor - LCSW or LPCC New Mexico Hope is an intensive outpatient treatment center expanding our team of professionals. We provide intensive outpatient treatment to adolescents and adults, couples and families in an outpatient setting. POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for supervising licensed and non-licensed practitioners. Provide individual and family counseling and groups, crisis intervention and support the needs of the agency. Duties • Supervise licensed and non-licensed practitioners • Complete all initial assessments • Provide group, individual and family groups and counseling • Crisis intervention • Update and review treatment plans • Prepare written assessments and treatment plans in an electronic behavioral health system • As the supervising clinician, you are responsible for ensuring all treatment plans and case management is documented according to state, private insurance company guidelines and program contracts • Ensure all documentation and treatment plans are completed as required to maintain compliance with State Medicaid, insurance company guidelines and program contracts Job Qualifications • Master’s degree from an accredited University • Currently independently licensed in the State of New Mexico: LCSW or LPCC, credentialed with Managed Care Organizations or eligible for credentialing • Working knowledge of billing for services to include Medicaid Guidelines • Working knowledge of and skills related to intakes and assessments, individual, couples and family therapy • Flexibility to meet client and program needs • Ability to work independently and remotely • Dependable vehicle • Must have excellent time management skills specific to completing intakes and assessments in timely manner. • Ability and willingness to function as an active and cooperative member of a professional team WHY New Mexico Hope? • Family centered staff • Flexible hours • Competitive pay • Client appointments come from agency-provided outreach, advertising and promotion efforts This position is a part-time contract position and the applicant must be flexible to meet client and program needs.
